Lauriston Primary School

Year 6 Residential 2018 - Day 2

A full day of  exciting activities, which were challenging yet truly satisfying.  Some quotes from the fabulous children which are truly inspirational:

Mia: "My favourite activity was the 'Leap of Faith' because I truly conquered my fear of heights."

Kajada:  ‘I really enjoyed the zip wire! When I first saw it , it was very scary.  I didn’t think I would manage the ride but when I finished it , I felt really good.’

Alfie:  "After 3 attempts, I finally found the courage to go down the abseiling wall.  I felt really proud of myself!"

Leo: "The Aerial Trek was really fun, I went round it several times."

Amourey on vertical climbing:  "I felt really proud of myself because I climbed to heights I would never have done before..’

We are all really proud of how the children are working together and rising to the challenges of the day. Great teamwork Year 6!
