Clubs and Activities
The Breakfast Club costs £2 per day and is based in the school hall.
Children can be dropped off from 8:00am and need to be taken directly to the school hall. Breakfast is served until 8:30am and consists of toast, cereal and a drink.
After the children have eaten breakfast, a variety of activities and games are available and children are fully supervised until they go to class at 8:45am.
We do have vacancies for either regular slots or occasional drop in sessions.
Please collect a form from the office for your child to join breakfast club.
Payments for Breakfast Club can be paid for on ParentMail (online payment system) or at the school office.
After School Activities
The clubs are being offered to provide a range of extra-curricular activities for children. They aim to broaden children’s horizons and develop their skills interests and knowledge. The same expectations in terms of behaviour and engagement are expected in the club as in school.
The clubs currently on offer are:
- Circus Skills
- Net Sports
- Rumble and Tumble
Clubs change every term. Clubs must be paid in advance to confirm your child’s place. You will be notified of the cost of each club at the beginning of each term. Missed sessions will not be reimbursed.Clubs cannot be paid via Parentmail; please make payment at the office (cash or cheque only).If you have difficulty with payment, assistance is available; please see Lorraine Groom.
Extended After-School Provision – If your child is attending the Extended After-School Provision please ensure you choose a club on the day/days your child attends.
Extended After School Provision
At Lauriston we provide childcare for children from 3.30 to 5.45pm Mon-Thurs and 3.30 -5pm on Friday. This is what we call Extended After School Provision.
The cost of the provision is £7.50 per day and payments must be made a week in advance.
Children have the opportunity to take part in adult led activities as well as being able to take part in free choice play in a safe and secure setting. Each child is given a snack consisting of 2 sandwiches, fruit and a drink.
At least one teacher led workshop is provided each day (please see timetable below) which take place in either the Hall, playground or School classroom accordingly.
Some sessions have a maximum numbers of participants. The staff will ensure a record is kept of children who are unable to access their first choice of activity and they will be given priority for the same session in the following weeks.
Free choice adult supervised sessions are provided daily and are resourced appropriately by the staff. This includes the option of indoor and outdoor play, weather permitting.

Creative & Sports Summer School At Lauriston
